PLOT
The land of Ceres was created by the two Goddesses Camazotz, Goddess of Sun, Land, and Dark, and Calypso, Goddess of Moon, Sea, and Light.
Individually they populated the land and sea with their creations, but together they created their Children. These beings of the land and sea, dark and light, were made in their likeness and blessed with magic to defend themselves in the world their Mothers left them.
The moon gives way to the sun in the morning, and the sun gives way to the moon in the evening. This is the reminder that each Mother is watching over her Children, and of the harmony that must exist between the Goddesses and their elements, if the world of Ceres is to stand in order.
One day Calypso attempted to steal Camazotz's magic and the sun went dark. The dispute ended and the sun returned along with Camazotz's magic, however, the Goddesses both had gone quiet. Strange things began to happen in Ceres, and some of the Goddess's Children were born without blessings.
The weakening of the Goddess's magic appears evident, and each's Mother's Children are accusing the other of the disappearance of their Mother.
War is brewing among the Children, and no longer is there balance in daybreak.
ABOUT
Daybreakers is a griffin roleplay made for those who happen to also enjoy character design.
The site is sandbox-styled and focuses on letting characters drive and define the plot and decide the direction of the story.
