The main tropical island of the west chain, Gnathus is comprised of a dense jungle and is filled with vegetation. The trees are tall and twist towards the sky like winding spiral stairways. Colorful plants bloom and the air here is usually moist. Gnathus is often regarded as the most beautiful of the islands of Ceres because of its bright, tropical vegetation and residents.

East of the main island, Ocheirus trails off from the shallows of the swamp land of Gnathus. In between these two islands are shallow and a reef connects them. The island of Ocherius is mostly comprised of dense, tropical forests and has uneven, jagged terrain.

This island is found to the east of Ocheirus. The seafloor surrounding the land is much deeper than around Gnathus, and the water is a darker, more mysterious color. The currents are stronger here, and there is less reef life. The island itself is rockier and the rainforest is sparser here. There are strangely large blocks of stone that tower into the air.

The smallest of the west island chain, this island is an outcropping of rock. There are a few plants that grow here, and some sand. Overall, though, the island is small and barren. Strange thing often wash up and collect on the shores, since there are few visitors on the island.

Delphys starts at the east edges of Nychus and Gnathus. This ocean stretches eastwards from the islands, gradually increasing in depth from the reefs at the island's bases. It drops off to a deep ocean and appears to be endless in the east direction.

The other large island in the area, Nychus is a tropical forest during the wet season, but can get quite dry in the dry season. During the rainy months the island can become well-flooded and riddled with rivers and streams that lead back into the ocean. The forest here is thick with cycads, ferns, and palms. The northern section of the island is covered in a grassy savannah. Reef surrounds the southern section of the island and warm sands wait at the shore.

A strip of the Badlands that continues from the lower Badlands of the northern island chain. Mimus is colder than Ratos and leads into the Coldlands. The terrain here is mostly that of a cold desert. Mimus tends to reach hot temperatures during the day, and freezing temperatures at night that make it quite treacherous.

The sea bordered by the Badlands, Nychus, and Gnathus. This shallow sea is covered largely in reef and has warm, welcoming waters.

A large section of badlands that extends all the way up to Elurus. This is a desert that tends to be hot during the day and freezing at night. The sand and dirt here is a reddish color and there are few shrubs and plants that poke through the dry ground. The lands appear to be absent of life, and rough sea winds have beaten and carved the land into strange structures, so rocks tower as the highest things in the area.

Ratos is another rocky island off of the coast of the badlands. Like Teryx, it juts from the ocean and is a bulky, rocky structure. The sides of the island act like walls to a hidden kingdom and on the inside of the island is a dip that is level with the sea around it. In this space there are strange caves and a secluded freshwater oasis.

A small, desolate and rocky island, Terxy appears to be an outcropping of reddish stone. The island appears to be a giant cliff that juts from the ocean. The side of the island seems to have crevices and openings that may lead to somewhere.

This is Las Noches territory.

The northern section of the mainland continent that seems only desolate. One can wander from the Badlands all the way north to the tundtra Elurus. The winds are strong here and there is little plant life, though there are some patches of giant sequoia trees. Most of the landscape here is comprised of shapely weathered rocks that take on strange, lofty formations, and glaciers and other ice formations. Snow storms are frequent here.

The sea that sits in between Elurus and Nychus. This body of water is deep and frigid in comparison to its tropical counterparts further south. There used to be reefs here a long time ago, but a now long gone and only the skeleton remains.
